First Trip to Park
I believe this is the first time that Jason and I have taken Breck to the park. He absolutely loved it. Right when we walked up to the slide, he let out the biggest squeal and a great big smile. He had no clue what it was. He just thought it looked big and pretty, I guess. It was bright yellow. Jason took him down some of the slides. Then he got to swing, which he loved. Then took a walk to look at the ducks. He liked them a lot too. He wanted to get down walk but he had no shoes and it was muddy. He loved every minute of being there and I can't wait to take him back.
My New Funny Trick
Then he laughs and laughs as I try to tug the spoon out of his mouth!!!
Poppa's Birthday
Poppa just couldn't wait until this weekend when we are having family over for his party. So the night before his real birthday, Momma and I gave Poppa all of his presents. They weren't even wrapped yet. Momma said, "no" but Poppa finally talked her into it. It was fun watching him open presents. I think I'm going to be good at this when I have my birthday in a couple of months. There will be more to this post whenever we have his party for him this weekend.
First Bubble Bath
Momma has been kind of boring lately. She has too much on her mind I think. She decided to do something fun and she gave me a bubble bath. I loved it!!!

Benefit Roping
Not too long ago, my brother was diagnosed with a blood clot on his brain. He is doing well thank goodness but still needs everyone's prayers. Some of his fellow roping buddies got together and held a benefit roping with all proceeds going to Dustin and his family. It was very nice of everyone to put the time and effort into making this so successful. We had a wonderful time and it was great knowing that it was benefiting someone that means a lot to me. One of our family members (Nancy) took photos at the event and they turned out great. Here are a few of them....

Holding His Own Bottle
Finally, at 10 months old, Breck decided it was time to hold his own bottle. I know this is way past when most kids hold thier own bottle, but that is probably my own fault. I have been such a control freak about his feeds that I haven't let him even try. He has probably been thinking, "Why should I have to hold it, when Momma will do it for me?" It has made it so much easier. He fed himself on our way into Sam's because he was apparently dying of thirst. He had screamed the whole way there. So this way we didn't have to sit in the car and wait for him to finish his bottle. Also, today after his lunch, he sat in the high chair and fed himself his bottle while I fixed the other baby (dada) his lunch. Man a Momma's job is never finished!!!! Anyways, I don't like that he is growing up so fast, but I do like that things are getting easier each month!!!

10 Months
Love to feed myself mash potatoes and brush my teeth!!!
Oh my goodness, 10 months sounds so close to 12 months. Nine months didn't bother me, but for some reason 10 months is really making me sad. I want you to grow up, but it makes me sad that it's happening so fast. I have already started planning your first birthday. I want your first birthday to be very special. So here is an update on what's been happening this last month.
* We have had some major eating changes. The doctor finally thinks you have digestion problems (hello, I have been telling him that for 9 months). So now we are on straight Nutramigen and we have cut it down to 5 oz bottles. I am hoping you don't spit up with only 5 ounces at a time. You are still drinking like 25 to 30 oz. That may be too much but whatever is my new motto. Whatever makes you happy, as long as it's not unhealthy or going to hurt you. Oh, and you pretty much drink it whenever you want to lately. I don't really know what happened to the schedule. It all changed when you got really sick (that's a whole other bullet!). You are now eating yogurt, crackers, macaroni, green beans, and bite size chunks of fruit. We are starting to give you a few more things to try. Momma is a scaredy-cat.
* You weigh 21 pounds. I know this because we have been to the doctor several times in the past 2 weeks.
* Started your first daycare experience. Momma hates every minute of it. I feel like a failure every time I have to choose work related things over spending time with you. It is so hard to balance being a mother and having a full time job.
* Starting daycare leads us to this: OUR FIRST DOUBLE EAR INFECTIONS!!!! It has been awful. You have been so fussy...so congested...couldn't eat because of the congestion....so in pain!!!!! The first antibiotic didn't work, so a week later we go back for another set. Then the daycare calls and says you have thrush from the antibiotic, so back to the doctor we go. At least he said your ears were fine. Only then he thought we had to address other issues while we were there for your stomach issues. He says your stomach is probably cramping you a lot and making you fussy. Hello, why doesn't anyone listen to the momma???? So now we have to limit fruits/juices because of the medicine you are on. I can't wait til you outgrow these issues.
* Also, the daycare has moved you to the walker room (no your not walking yet, but you are well on your way) because apparently you have been really fussy there (no one has really told me the whole truth). Anyways, they let you play with the toys in the walker area and you are much happier. I could have told them you weren't happy playing with rattles. You are much smarter than that. Actually I have been amazed at some of the things you do already. (Of course I think your G.T.) : )
* Loves to patty cake, throw the ball with Poppa (which is too cute), go on walks, watch Coleman play ball with Poppa, watching the wind chime outside, playing with your toys and brushing your teeth!!
* Just recently you have been able to pull up on your Mickey Mouse pusher/car thingy (whatever it's called) and walk without help...you can also stop and sit down...then do it all over again. I am thinking you are getting a little brave and walking will be coming soon.
* Every morning you love watching Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. When Mickey comes on, you clap your hands and get so excited. I love it!!!
* You now have 6 teeth. I can't believe it. With every tooth you change your looks. Still just as cute as ever.
Momma and Poppa love you so much!!! I think you love us too. When I pick you up from daycare, you have to give me like 10 kisses before we leave. I love those sloppy kisses. You are such a sweet little boy.
