13 weeks today!!!!

This has been a pretty good week. Breck is really growing out of his cranky stage and I am almost ready to say that he is a happy baby pretty much most of the time. I am thankful that he will play in his bouncer and under his play gym for quite a while now without getting fussy. He just sits there and grins!! He is almost ready to bust out into laughter any day now. It is still a lot of squeals right now. I sure do love those squeals!! For the past few nights he has been finally going to sleep around 8:30 and pretty much sleeping til 4. I occasionally have to put him in my bed around 2 but he goes right back to sleep. Then will go back to sleep until 7:30 after he has a 4:00 bottle. I am so thankful that I am finally getting some sleep. It is desperately needed. We are working on self soothing himself back to sleep. I think it actually just worked for nap time....we shall see. As soon as that binky falls out, he will be screaming again. I just tried to put him down without it and he woke up 5 minutes later. It is still a work in progress. Tonight we are going to go eat with Grandpa Wayne and Lynda for Grandpa's birthday and my birthday. Then we are going to Nana and Papa's to see them and Grandma!! This makes for a busy day.

SNOW DAY!!!

We just had to get out for a picture...I didn't want to miss this opportunity to get a picture of Breck on one of his first snow days. We missed the first snow, because I felt like he was to young to get out in it. So today we bundled him up and snapped a few pictures. He didn't care for it too much. It was a little too bright.

12 weeks - 3 MONTHS!!!

Woohoo...I'm 3 months!

I can't believe Breck is 3 months old....he is growing so fast. Yesterday he rolled over for the first time and now there is no tummy time for him. I guess if you don't like something learn to do something about it and he did!!!!

11 weeks

He squirms so much...this is not how I put him in there.

Only way I can get laundry done around here!

I have been busy this week I guess because it kind of came and went in the blink of an eye. I don't really remember what went on this week....I am sure it was special....Oh wait....he started sleeping!!! I do remember that. He can now go to bed around 9 or 10 and sleep til about 4 or 5. If he does wake up and have trouble sleeping I do give him a bottle, because that is a long time to go without a bottle I feel like. Then he crawls back in bed with us and goes nighty night!!!! I have got to get out of the habit of sleeping with us!!!

10 weeks!!

OUCH!!!! Today Breck had his 2 month checkup which means shots!!! He was 23 1/4 inches long and 11 lbs 11 oz. He has more than doubled since he was born. He is getting so big and a lot more fun. I love his smiles and his coos.

9 weeks

This is what Jason has to do to keep him from crying for at least 30 min a night some times. Hey whatever works.

Well 9 weeks wasn't all that exciting. It was so cold this week with the temperatures in the negatives and snow that we couldn't get out. We finally busted out during the middle of the week because I couldn't take it anymore. Being stuck in a house all day and night with a cranky baby is not very fun. Breck has been really cranky around 6:00.....please outgrow this stage!!!!! Jason gets very upset coming home to a cranky baby. He wants so badly to come home and see a happy, smiley baby....I just keep telling him that time will come soon. I finally learned that part of it is that he is tired so I force him to take a nap around 5:00 for about an hour. Then again, Jason comes home to a sleeping baby. He doesn't get to interact with him at all. That has been helping some. At this point I will take anything.

8 Weeks

I don't care for the camera too much!!

Man am I growing....I am now 2 months old and getting so big. I am getting so strong....I am still a little wobbly with my head, but am getting more control everyday. This week was New Year's and I slept the whole night. There's no way I was staying up til midnight.....I don't think momma and poppa made it either. I think they were in bed by 9:30....they're getting so old. We got to go to Nana's for her birthday on New Year's Day. My grandma made some delicious lasagna!!! Saturday night my grandpa, Lynda, and KaDerrius came over for Christmas. Man did they spoil me. I just love my mobile they got me. I will lay there and just squeal at it!!! That gives momma a little time to not hear me fussin. That night at about 11:00 the snow began to fall....it snowed a lot and it was so pretty. I can't wait til I am old enough to go play in it!!!
